Returnee students must visit the IBASS returnee application page on the JAMB website.

Selecting University of Choice

After completing the initial steps, students can choose their preferred university and program.

They will then upload scanned copies of their current university admission letter, transcript, data page of their international passport, and a sworn affidavit affirming the authenticity of the uploaded documents.

The Evaluation Process

After clicking “SUBMIT,” the students’ preferred universities will receive notifications and IBASS emails to begin the evaluation of the students’ credentials.

If found suitable for admission, a confirmation will be sent to the students.

Final Steps to Admission

Successful returnees will be instructed to visit any JAMB office in person to finalize the inter-university transfer application.

Each university’s Senate, as mentioned earlier, holds the right to decide on these transfers, ensuring the autonomy and integrity of each institution’s academic processes.
