Beneficiaries Receive Overdue Payments

Now, let’s move on to the big news.

NASIMS, the National Social Investment Management System, has begun disbursing overdue stipend payments to beneficiaries from Batch C1 and C2.

The committed technical team at NASIMS promised this payout by June 2023’s end and they have delivered!

Beneficiaries Express Relief

Many beneficiaries who had completed the account validation process but hadn’t yet received their payments heaved a sigh of relief on June 21st, 2023.

They confirmed receipt of their long-awaited stipends.

NASIMS Pre-Selects More Beneficiaries

Also, a large portion of the newly pre-selected beneficiaries from Batch C2, who have been diligently following NASIMS’ instructions, reported receipt of their stipends on the same day.

To give you a bit of a backdrop, NASIMS recently pre-selected over 200,000 new beneficiaries for the Batch C2 Npower program, as the initial selection fell short of the 490,000 target.

Next Steps for Beneficiaries

NASIMS urges beneficiaries, especially those new to Batch C2, to validate their information using the Npower validation portal at validation.nasims.ng.

This step is vital to guarantee inclusion in the next stipend payment phase by the end of June 2023.

Payments Have Begun

As of today, the 23rd of June 2023, payments have kicked off for beneficiaries who’ve verified their status and completed their account validation process.

The payments will continue until everyone is paid in full.

Clarifying The Months for The Disbursed Stipends

But which months are these stipends covering, you ask? Well, they’re for October, November, and December 2022.

These apply to Batch C2 beneficiaries who validated their account details but hadn’t received their payments yet.

Newly Selected Beneficiaries Also Paid

The recently pre-selected Batch C2 beneficiaries, who’ve successfully updated their statuses and completed their account validation, are also recipients of these stipends.

Upcoming Stipend Payments

NASIMS plans to pay all outstanding stipends to all Batch C2 beneficiaries, including the newly pre-selected ones, before starting the stipend payments for January through May 2023.

They aim to bring everyone to the same payment level, promoting fairness. So, if you come across any news stating that these stipends are currently being paid, please disregard it.
