The TLG Program is a collaboration between the American University in Cairo (AUC) and the US Department of State, Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs (NEA/AC). It is designed to support academically qualified and economically deserving students who aspire to pursue graduate studies.

Who Should Apply:

We encourage applications from students with professional qualifications and experience who are eager to expand their knowledge and contribute meaningfully through graduate studies. The program is also dedicated to fostering research to advance emerging leaders.

Program Goals:

The TLG 2024 Program focuses on addressing common challenges in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. It offers international students from these areas a unique opportunity to earn a master’s degree at AUC with a scholarship.

Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible, students must enroll in one of the approved graduate programs and conduct research on specified topics. The TLG Fellowship covers most expenses for international students participating in the AUC graduate program.

  • 8.    Commit to all activities within the TLG fellowship program.
