Who We Are
A brainchild of the Federal Ministry of Aviation and Aerospace, AAAU is proud to be Africa’s pioneer Pan-African University in Aviation, Aerospace, and Environmental Science.
Our mission is to fill the existing gaps in aviation and aerospace research and development and cater to the prevalent manpower shortages within Africa’s aviation industry.

Undergraduate Degrees
Starting July 2023, we will be launching two unique BSc programs:
- BSc. Aviation Business
- BSc. Meteorology
Both of these programs aim to equip students with the relevant knowledge and skills to navigate and excel in the ever-evolving aviation sector and meteorological field respectively.
Postgraduate Degrees
Starting December 2023, we will be offering four MSc programs, each tailored to meet industry-specific demands:
- MSc. Air Transport Management
- MSc. Air Safety Management
- M.Sc. Airport Management
- M.Sc. Applied Meteorology
The MSc Applied Meteorology program offers further specializations in Aviation Meteorology, Agro Meteorology, Synoptic Meteorology, Hydrometeorology, and Climate Change.
